WOLF TRAP NATIONAL PARK FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

DIRECTIONS: From I-495 (Washington Beltway), take exit 45 to the west bound lanes from the Dulles Toll Road.  Exit 15 from the Toll Road will bring you into Wolf Trap Farm Park.

DESCRIPTION: America’s national park for the performing arts. A typical season at Wolf Trap includes something for everyone with performances ranging from pop, country, folk and blues to orchestra, dance, theater and opera, as well as innovative performance art and multimedia presentations.

PARKING:  Special parking area rear of orchestra seating section.
5 van and 12 designated accessible parking spaces.  43 spaces in this lot are reserved for patrons with special needs but are of a standard vehicle width.  Traffic circle near main gate has approximately 10 unmarked accessible spaces controlled by the park’s staff.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Asphalt and concrete paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.  Steep grades may require assistance for persons in wheelchairs.  Paths are various lengths.

ENTRANCE:  Located 1551 Trap Road - open air venue.  1 curb 4 in. high.  Ramp on south side of main gate plaza. 

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  8 wheelchair accessible stalls in various locations near the rear orchestra accessible parking area (south gate), on the plaza area, near the stage gate and on house seating left side.  The last two locations involve slopes.  Available without steps.  Doors open out. 4 companion assisted restrooms.  Accessible stall in meadow outside of the Filene Center. 

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, sign language interpretation can be arranged by calling 703-255-1849 or emailing patronservices@wolftrap.org. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required. Wolf Trap will provide CART (Communication Access Real Time Translation) services when requests are made 3 weeks in advance of show. FM Loop amplification headsets are available for most performances at no charge. When you arrive, ask an usher for more information. These services are available at all Wolf Trap performing venues.

For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs in large print.

For guests with mobility disabilities, there is accessible seating in designated areas.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES:  In Ovations Restaurant at the Filene Center offers an elegant buffet ranging from Mediterranean cuisine to Southern comfort food.   The Barns offers specialty drinks, artisanal starters, handcrafted flatbreads and panini, desserts. Concession stands on various levels serve patrons in all seating locations.

GIFT SHOP:  No interior sales area.  All sales are handled at an exterior window.

Patrons are eligible to receive 50% off one ticket, subject to availability for persons over age 65, active duty enlisted military (grades E1-E4), and college and university students with a valid ID. Discount tickets are sold at the box office starting 30 minutes before the performance, subject to availability.
