GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  The Muscarelle Museum of Art is located on the campus of The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Of particular note are Colonial American and 17th and 18th century English portraits, a survey collection of original prints and drawings from the 16th through the 20th centuries, a selection of Japanese prints, a collection of German Expressionist works by Hans Grohs, and the Jean Outland Chrysler collection of American Abstract Expressionism.
