From I-64 Eastbound:  Take exit 250B to Rte 105.  Turn left on Rte 143.  Park is on the right.  From I-64 Westbound:  Take exit 250B, left on Rte 143.  Park is on the right.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  This 8,000-acre park with two fresh water reservoirs is one of the largest municipal parks east of the Mississippi. The park features a 5-star archery range, disc golf course, golf course, horse show arena with a stage, a ropes and initiative course, 30-miles of hiking trails, 5-mile mountain bike trail and 5.3-mile bikeway. Includes campsites, nature trails, walking, boating facilities, picnic areas and indoor interpretive center.

PARKING:  2 designated accessible parking spaces at Visitor Center.    Parking space 8 ft. wide.  Accessible aisle 4 ft. wide.  RV parking.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Dirt paths/ nature trails.   Length of paths 2-3 miles.  Paths not accessible to wheelchairs or walkers.  Paved roads run through park from site to site.

ENTRANCE:  Visitor Center located at entrance to park.  Automatic doors  open out.

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  At main office/Ranger station.   Doors 31 in. wide, open in.  Turns to enter.  Stalls have 31 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails.  19 in. toilet seat height, 13 in. between commode and wall.  Sink height 31 in.  Accessible stall checked for obstructions.

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, signing interpreters are available with advance notice.

For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs in large print, with contrasting background, printed on a non-glossy surface. 

GIFT SHOP:  Located at front counter.

PICNIC AREAS:  Located throughout park.  There is also a designated accessible picnic shelter.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Designated accessible picnic area has 1 accessible bathroom. Interpretive Center has exhibits and ramp, accessible restrooms.  Accessible campsite with accessible pathway to restroom. Open sunrise to sunset.
