DIRECTIONS: One mile south of Middletown on Rte 11.  From I-66, take I-81 north to exit 302, west on 627 to Rte 11 in Middletown.  Follow Rte 11 south to Cedar Creek.  From I-81,take exit 302 and follow above directions.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Famous Civil War battlefield with museum, tours, and annual October reenactment. Cedar Creek Battlefield is the site of the only documented Civil War battle where both sides won and lost in the same day.

PARKING:  Gravel parking lot.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Gravel paths.

ENTRANCE:  At side of building.  2 in. threshold to enter.  Handrails on right.  Entry door, 35 in. wide, easily opens in with lever handle located 33 in. above floor .

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  Located near entrance.  Doors 34 in. wide, open in.  Turns to enter.  Toilet in large open room.  Handrails.  19 in. toilet seat height, 13 in. between commode and wall.  Sink height 32 in.  Wrapped pipes.  Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.  Unisex or companion assisted rest rooms available.

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, written scripts are available.

For guests with visual disabilities, there are documents in large print on non-glossy surface.

GIFT SHOP:  Aisles 89 in. wide.  Counters 44 in. high.   Aisles clear of temporary displays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Accepted credit cards: V, AE, DS and MC.  Tour fee.  The tours are done in the visitor’s vehicle with a guide accompanying in the vehicle.
