GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Art and artifacts from worldwide collections donated to library, e.g. African masks, clay pottery, tribal ornaments etc.
PARKING: 4 designated accessible parking spaces. Located at Wilson Hall, 600 yards from library. Parking space 10 ft. wide. Accessible aisle 6 ft. wide. RV parking.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Cement walk. Paths accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Length of paths 150 ft.
ENTRANCE: Main double doors to JMU Carrier Library on street level. Automatic doors, 35 in. wide.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: At exhibit entrance. Doors 32 in. wide, open in. Turns to enter. 21in. wide stall doors open out. 16 in. toilet seat height, 10 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 31 in. Wrapped pipes. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.

For guests with visual impairments, signs are printed with a contrasting background.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE FACILITIES: 400 ft. from library to snack shop, which is accessed by ramp. Table height 28 in. Aisles between tables vary in width. Tables located inside and outside.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Tours are self guided - no assistance available. Low lighting to preserve art.
