DIRECTIONS: Rte 29N to 2nd Main Street exit. Make left onto 12th Street, right. onto Court Street (for wheelchair access right. onto Clay Street).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Old Court House Museum is a two level building consisting of various articles once used by legal personnel, such as furniture, desks, and pictures of founders.
PARKING: 1 designated accessible parking space, located back of building (Clay Street entrance). Parking space 10 ft. wide. Accessible aisle 4 ft. wide. Nearby ramps well marked. RV parking.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Rock sidewalk and rock ramp (“Historical layout”). Paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities. Length of paths 35 ft. (parking spot to entrance).
ENTRANCE: Located rear entrance (wheelchair entrance). 2 entry doors, easily open out with push handle. Steps inside lobby, located left of rear entrance, marked with tactile strip/color change.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Located directly across from wheelchair entrance. Doors 32 in. wide, open in. Turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 30 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 10 in. between commode and wall. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.
ELEVATOR: To the immediate left of wheelchair entrance. Serves all levels. Door width 42 in. Control buttons 40 in. high. Buttons in braille and recessed. Door stays open 20 seconds. Audible floor change signal. Interior of car is 48 in. by 89 in.

For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs in large print, with contrasting background, printed on a non-glossy surface.
