From I-64 take exit 284 B (Newtown Road), follow clover-leaf around then take the next right exit: South Newtown Road. Move over to left lane of exit ramp, go straight through traffic light to Greenwich Road, hotel one block down on right.
PARKING: 12 wheelchair accessible parking spaces located at sides and front of hotel. Nearby ramps well marked.
ENTRANCE: At front of hotel, front of restaurant and left side of building. Ramps provided. Automatic doors.
FACILITIES: Signs printed in large print, in contrasting colors with raised lettering. Luggage handling available. Non-smoking rooms. Lowered drinking fountains. Assistive Listening System. There is increased wattage lighting in dining and meeting areas.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: 1st floor conference area, and 1st floor by restaurant. Doors 36 in. wide, open in. No turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 32 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 12 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 30 in. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants on door to designate men.
ELEVATOR: Wheelchair accessible elevators, located in lobby and in back wing. Serve all levels. Buttons in braille and raised. Interior of car is 84 in. by 42 in.
ACCOMMODATIONS: 12 wheelchair accessible rooms, on 1st floor, each with king-size bed on a frame with no obstruction beneath. Cot available. Unnecessary furniture removed upon request. 60 inch circular clearspace in room and in bathroom. Bathroom door is 36 in. wide. Grab bar in tub. Hand held shower heads. Sink 25 in. high. Handrail with toilet. 19 in. toilet seat height. Room numbers with braille and raised markings. Smoke alarm with flashing light. Closed captioned TV. Lever handles on doors. Closet rods wheelchair height. Extended drapery rod pulls. Lowered light switches, peep holes and thermostats.
RESTAURANT: 23 tables for guests in wheelchairs, located front and back section of restaurant. Tables 27 in. high, 36 in. aisle between tables. Menus available in braille.
SAFETY PROCEDURES: Front desk personnel made aware of guests with disabilities, and their type, in case of emergency.
