DIRECTIONS: I-64 to Exit 250A on Rte 105 (Ft. Eustis Blvd). Proceed down Washington Blvd (inbound), turn left onto Jefferson Ave, then left onto Washington Blvd (outbound). Museum complex is on right side.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Exhibits depicting the history of U. S. Army Transportation including videos, dioramas, models and full-size vehicles.

PARKING: 2 designated accessible parking spaces, located on either side of sidewalk entrance. Accessible parking space 13 1/2 ft. wide. Accessible aisle 8 _ ft. wide. Nearby ramps well marked. RV parking.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Exterior: sidewalk Interior: carpet and Astroturf, Paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.

ENTRANCE: Located Facing Washington Boulevard. Automatic doors. (first set of doors automatic, second set manual) Doors easily opened. 2 entry doors, 35 in. wide, open out with metal handle located 35 in. above the floor. Glass doors have handles clearly marked in contrasting color. Steps at train exhibit outside, each 7 in. high. Handrails on left and right. No ramp provided.

PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Located between gift shop and front entrance. Available without steps. Doors 32 in. wide, open in. No turns to enter. Wheelchair accessible stalls: 31 in. wide doors opening in and handrails. 15 in toilet seat height. 14 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 32 in. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms identified by raised figures with pants or skirt on the door to designate men or women.

GIFT SHOP: Aisles 60 in in. wide. Counters 38 in. high. Aisles clear of temporary displays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Accepted credit cards: V MC DS. Free Admission. Hours: Tue-Sun 9-4:30, closed Mon. and all Federal holidays. Self-guided tour of exhibits.
