I-81 Exit 17, turn left on Cummings Street, turn right on Main Street, Theatre on left.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Major regional theater founded during the depression, with drama being bartered for food.  Newly renovated and enlarged.

PARKING:  1 designated accessible parking space.

TYPES OF PATHS:  Paths are cemented brick sidewalks, with steep grades which would require assistance for persons in wheelchairs.  Ramps provided.  Paths have 3 switch backs 20 ft. each long.  Staff will assist guests upon request.

ENTRANCE:  40 ft. from curb ramp to ramp into building.  3 other entrances with steps, 3, 4, or 5 exterior steps, each 6-7 in. in height.  Handrails on left and right.  Ramps provided.  Entry doors, 35 in. wide, easily open out with grab handle located 32 in. above floor.  20 interior steps, in lobby, leading to balcony.  Each step is 6 in. high.  Handrails on left and right.

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  Located 40 ft. left of entrance.  Also upstairs.  Doors are 35 in. wide, and open in.  Turns to enter.  Accessible stalls have 32 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails.  29 in. between commode and wall.  Sink height 34 in.  Pipes are wrapped.  Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. 

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, tours in American Sign Language and signing interpreters are available with advance notice.  Written scripts and Assistive Listening System available upon request.
For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs and brochures  in large print, with contrasting background, printed on a non-glossy surface.  

GIFT SHOP:  Aisles 32 in. wide.  Counters 36 in. high.  Clerks assist customers with special needs.  Aisles clear of temporary displays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Guests in wheelchairs call in advance to arrange for special seating.  Credit cards:  MC, V and DS.  48-hour advance cancellation policy, strictly enforced.  No children under five.  Students and group discounts.

PARKING:  One designated accessible parking space, located in front.  Nearby ramps well marked.  RV parking.

TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION:  Asphalt.  Paths  accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.  10 ft. path to ramp.

ENTRANCE:  At front of building, ramp on left side of building (ramp door has door bell for person inside to open door.)  2 exterior steps, each 7 1/2 in. high.  Handrails on left/right.  2 entry doors, 42 in. wide, open out with handle located 36 in. above floor.

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  Available without steps.  Doors open in.  Turns to enter.  Wheelchair accessible stalls are 36 in. wide, with doors opening out, and handrails.  24 in. between commode and wall.  Sink height 30 in.  Wrapped pipes.  Accessible stall checked for obstructions.  Unisex or companion assisted rest rooms available.

PUBLIC TELEPHONE:  Accessible phones located in studios and office.

Off I-81, exit 17 onto Cummings St.  At 2nd light turn right onto Main St.  Inn on the immediate right.

PARKING:  5 wheelchair accessible parking spaces in front and rear of Inn.  Nearby ramps well marked.

ENTRANCE:  Front and rear of Inn.  Handrails on left/right.  Ramps provided.  Glass doors easily opened with clearly marked bar handle. 

FACILITIES:  Signage printed in contrasting colors.  Luggage handling available.  Lowered drinking fountains.  Non-smoking rooms. 

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  1st floor.  Doors 36 in. wide, open in.  No turns to enter.  Accessible stalls have 38 in. wide doors opening in, and handrails.  19 in. toilet seat height, 12 in. between commode and wall.  Sink ht. 28 in.  Wrapped pipes.  Accessible stall checked for obstructions.

ELEVATOR:  Wheelchair accessible elevator with sound indicator serves 1st, 2nd, 3rd floors.  Buttons raised.  Door open 10 seconds.  Interior of car is  72  in. by 84  in.

PUBLIC TELEPHONE:  Wheelchair accessible phone.  Amplified phone.  Phones on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. 

ACCOMMODATIONS:  Wheelchair accessible room on 1st floor, with   double bed on a frame with no obstruction beneath.  60 inch circular clearspace in room and bathroom.  Bathroom door is 36 in. wide.  Wheelchair accessible toilet is 19 inches high with room for a lateral transfer.  Grab bar in tub.  Roll-in showers.  Sink 33 in. high.  Wrapped pipes.  Large digit display alarm clocks.  Smoke alarm with flashing light.  Room light flashes when phone rings.  Vibrating alarm clock.  Lever handles on doors.  Closet rods wheelchair height.  Extended drapery rod pulls.  Lowered light switches, thermostat and peep holes.

RESTAURANT:  All tables accessible for guests in wheelchairs.  Table 36 in. high, aisle width between tables is 48 in.   

SAFETY PROCEDURES:  Front desk personnel made aware of guests with disabilities, and their type, in case of emergency. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Accepted credit cards:  V, MC and AE.  Check-in 3 PM, check-out Noon.  Room service, gift shop, and cable TV.
