PUBLIC REST ROOMS: In lobby. Doors are 36 in. wide, open out. Turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 33 in. wide doors opening out, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 18 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 30 in. Pipes wrapped. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.
ELEVATOR: Wheelchair accessible elevator with sound indicator. Interior of car is 88 in. by 53 in.
ACCOMMODATIONS: First floor, accessible by elevator. 4 wheelchair accessible rooms. 2 have 2 double beds and 2 have king-size beds, each on a frame with no obstruction beneath. Cots available. Unneeded furniture can be removed. 60 in. circular clear space in room and bath. Bathroom door is 36 in. wide, with 1/2 in. sill. Grab bar in tub. Hand held shower heads. Sink 30 in. high. Pipes wrapped. Handrail with toilet. 19 in. toilet seat height. Room numbers with recessed markings. Flashing light smoke alarms, TTY, phone flasher, door knock light, and closed captioned TV. Lowered closet rods. Extended drapery rod pulls. Lowered light switches, thermostat and peep holes.
STAFF TRAINING: Front desk personnel and bellmen have been trained to serve guests using wheelchairs, guests having mobility, visual or hearing impairments. New personnel are trained to assist guests with special needs and the location of special equipment.
RESTAURANT: There are 20 tables for guests in wheelchairs, located upper level, main dining room. Table height is 28 in. Menus are available on non-glossy surface.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Accepted credit cards: V, MC, DC, DS, CB, AE and JCB. Check-in 3 PM, check-out noon. Children 18 and under stay free. Room service available. Pool and cable TV. Free high speed internet. Pets allowed, $25 pet deposit. Service dogs allowed.
