PUBLIC REST ROOMS: In lobby. Doors open out. No turns to enter. Accessible stalls have doors opening out, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height. Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women. Unisex and/or companion assisted rest room available at the public rest room.
ELEVATOR: Wheelchair accessible elevator with sound indicator.
ACCOMMODATIONS: 8 wheelchair accessible rooms on 1st floor, each with double bed on frame with no obstruction beneath. Cot available. 60 in. circular clear space in room and bath. Sill at bath door. Handrail with toilet. 19 in. toilet seat height. Room numbers with braille and raised markings. Closed captioned TV. Lever handles on doors. Extended drapery rod pulls. If wheelchair accessible room is not available, alternate accommodations can be made on first floor. Lowered light switches, closet rods, thermostat and peep holes.
RESTAURANT: There are tables for guests in wheelchairs in Passports Restaurant and Lounge, which is located in the lobby atrium. Food service includes breakfast and dinner; closed Sunday evening for dinner.
SAFETY PROCEDURES: Front desk personnel routinely made aware of guests with disabilities and their type, in case of emergency.
