GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Home of Winchester’s founder, offers acres of enchanting gardens, tours of historic house and collections.
PARKING: 2 wheelchair accessible parking spaces.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Gravel, cobblestone, brick, and concrete. Paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities, but some steep grades may require assistance for persons in wheelchairs. There is a designated wheelchair route.
ENTRANCE: 2 exterior steps, each 5 in. high. Ramp provided.
2 entry doors, 28 in. wide, easily open in and out with knob handle located 39 in. above floor.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Available at stops along the tour. Doors

DIRECTIONS: Apple Pie Ridge Road (VA-739) intersects with US-522N within sight of the US-37 overpass. Turn from US-522N onto Apple Pie Ridge Road (VA-739). Go 0.9 mile, Long Hill driveway is on the left between our 547 mailbox and our Long Hill B&B sign. Follow along the asphalt, tree-lined driveway
PARKING: Parking located at driveway by back door. Access aisle 42 in wide. Curb cut nearby.
ENTRANCE: Located ground level just off driveway with no steps. Entry doors, 32-34 in. wide, slide open with grip handle located 30 in. above floor. Door easily opened. No interior steps. Set of stairs to lower level with handrails.
FACILITIES: There are no steps from the lobby level to the dining area and public rooms. Luggage handling is available. All facilities are non-smoking. Signage is printed in large print and on contrasting background. Increased wattage lighting in guest rooms, public rooms, and dining areas.
