Rte 360 West from Richmond, approximately 22 miles Southwest of Keysville, Rte 92 to Clover, approximately 5 miles to Rte 600, left at Bobcats, 3 miles to Rte 855.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Civil War Fort, guided trail across railroad bridge, museum and wetland.

PARKING:  2 wheelchair accessible parking spaces.

TYPES OF PATHS:  Accessible trail to fort and bridge.  Nature trail through wetlands.  Trails have no steep grades.  Paths are 1/2 mile long. 

ENTRANCE:  Clover Visitor Center at Fort Hill.  Entry doors, 60 in. wide, easily open out with handle located 30 in. above floor.  

PUBLIC REST ROOMS:  In visitor center.  Doors are 60 in. wide, open in.  Turns to enter.  Accessible stalls have 36 in. wide doors opening out, handrails.  19 in. toilet seat height, 19 in. between commode and wall.  Sink height is 31 in.  Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.  Companion assisted rest room available.  Rest rooms are identified by a raised figure with pants or skirt on door to designate men or women.

SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with hearing disabilities, there are written scripts. 
For guests with visual disabilities, there are signs with contrasting background. 

GIFT SHOP:  Counters 40 in. high.  Clerks assist customers with special needs.  Aisles clear of temporary displays.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Hours: Mid December to mid February-closed.  Mid February to May 1 and Oct 1 to mid Dec, Wed - Sat 9 - 4:30 and Sun 1-4:30.  May 1 to October 1, Mon - Sat 9-4:30 and  Sun 1 - 4:30.
