Directions: From Woodstock (I-81, exit 283) south on rte 42, 16 miles to right onto rte 263, 5 miles to Basye. Take first right after Bryce Resort (Alum Springs Road, rte 717), go 3 3/4 miles to right onto Crooked Run Road, rte 720. Second driveway on left.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Deer Farm with approximately 150 beautiful fallow deer. Children and adults may hand feed the deer. Gift shop featuring own venison, valley arts & crafts and organic eggs from our international flock of chickens.
PARKING: In lawn area on farm. No marked parking. RV parking.
TYPES OF PATHS TO OR AROUND ATTRACTION: Grass. Paths accessible to persons with mobility disabilities. Length of paths 15 to 50 ft.
ENTRANCE: Driveway off Crooked Run Road extends to gift shop for pickup and drop off. 2 exterior steps on one door, each 9 in. high. Ramp provided on one door. 2 entry doors, easily open out with wood handle.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: There are no public rest rooms.
SPECIAL SERVICES:
For guests with visual disabilities, there are hands-on exhibits such as hand feeding the deer.
GIFT SHOP: Aisles 54 in. wide. Counters 30 in. high. Aisles clear of temporary displays.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: No credit cards accepted. Free admission (donations accepted). Hours: Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon 10AM-4PM, April -November.
