GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The story of the oldest U.S. Army Infantry Regiment, from 1784 to present, is told in the only Army museum in the Washington, D.C. area.
PARKING: 2 wheelchair accessible parking spaces.
ENTRANCE: Facing Sheridan Avenue. 8 steps, each 8 in. in height. Entry doors, 34 in. wide, easily open out with handle 40 in. above floor. Wheelchair accessible ramp, 4 ft. wide, at the rear of the building, leading to a 34 in. door.
PUBLIC REST ROOMS: Located to left inside gallery. Doors are 35 in. wide, open out. No turns to enter. Accessible stalls have 32 in. wide doors opening in, and handrails. 19 in. toilet seat height, 10 in. between commode and wall. Sink height 31 in. Accessible stall checked regularly for obstructions.
