GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Civil War Visitor Center has three floors of Civil War exhibits and an audio-visual program introducing Richmond’s role in the Civil War, the battlefields around the city and the impact that this event had on the city and the nation. DIRECTIONS: Exit I-195 (downtown expressway) at Cary Street, turn west. Follow about 1/4 mile to Canterbury. Turn left, or south, into Windsor Farms. Canterbury will split, take the left split at the arrow sign. Follow around bearing right and merge with Sulgrave Road. The house is on the left. It is about 3/4 of a mile from Cary Street.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Historic 2 story mansion overlooking the James River. The 45 minute guided tour includes the home and its patios. There are 8 acres of bricked and graveled garden paths, and grassy hills to roam and picnic. The home was built in England in the 12th century, and reconstructed in the US in the early 20th century, and has not been modernized to current accessibility requirements.
PARKING: On street parking only. There is a circle drive for drop off at the front entrance.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 18th century Georgian-style mansion constructed by William Randolph III in 1753. It exhibits furnishings of the period including textiles, china, and crystal, and houses one of the finest collections of 18th century furniture in the area.
